Yefrenes took a deep breath, turned around slowly to face James, and said, “Since the cat’s already out of the bag, there’s no need to hide it anymore. Do you have Frona with you, James?”James took a sip of his wine and asked with a smile, “So what if I do?”Yefrenes said firmly, “Please hand her over. She’s the Caeloros Supreme, the backbone of the Destiny Sect. Without her, the Xanadu and Haleth Realms will face catastrophes.“The Haleth Realm’s divine beings don’t know a lot of things. In fact, it’s best they don’t ever discover the truth. Otherwise, the Haleth Realm will never be at peace.”‘This again? Since you want to be ambiguous and play tricks with me, I might as well teach you a lesson.’James pondered for a moment, then asked, “I heard that devouring the Caeloros Supreme would increase my strength significantly and allow me to become invincible in the Haleth Realm.”Amos exclaimed, “You devoured her?! You…”Yefrenes glared at him, silencing him. Then, she turned to
Then, James produced another bottle of Chaos Absinthe and slowly sipped it.Quintinus exploded once more, “That ruthless bastard! He’s clearly mocking us!”He turned his gaze toward Yefrenes. “If you guys won’t do it, I’ll take care of this bastard myself…”Yefrenes caught his arm just as Quintinus strode past her to pounce on James.“Can you just calm down?” Yefrenes bellowed. “It’s not like we hold any grudges against each other. Why do we have to make things hard for an innocent young man from the Haleth Realm?”Quintinus, Amos, and Quintus were all flabbergasted by Yefrenes’ reaction. When she turned to face James again, Yefrenes had a look of approval in her eyes.“As expected of the Chosen One who has the Nine Caeloros Gods’ recognition, you have quite the personality.“We can be at ease knowing that the Haleth Realm is under your governance.”There were three underlying messages in those words.Firstly, Yefrenes praised James while displaying her generosity as a Caelor
James slowly opened his eyes.Standing on the Xwem Chessboard, he saw three men and one woman flying toward him. Their overwhelming aura shook the space and even the Historial Palace below. With the information he received from Frona, James recognized them instantly as the rumored three Caeloros Gods and Quintus.Unlike what James expected, the three Caeloros Gods' entrance was rather dull. There was no thunder rumbling in the sky, no beautiful halos surrounding them, and no primordial beasts escorting them. Even Yehria’s entrances were less boring.Yefrenes, who led the group, looked at James with scorn. “James Caden, did you build this formation specifically to trap us?”Behind her, Quintinus and Amos laughed contemptuously as if they had just heard the funniest joke ever. On the other hand, Quintus tried to force a smile despite his anxiety, making him look awkward in the group.Zbynek and Lilibeth, watching from the roof of the Historial Palace, were visibly nervous.“This d
“I’ll take a break first since I’m feeling a bit tired.”James sat on the Xwem Chessboard and took out a bottle of Chaos Absinthe, sipping the liquor slowly.Zbynek and Lilibeth were left flabbergasted.Meanwhile, James let out a sigh of satisfaction, clearly enjoying the drink.“Enough with the mockery!” Lilibeth snapped. “We protectors of the Path won’t abandon our disciplines for some liquor!”“That’s right!” Zbynek tried to sound as firm as he could. “We wouldn’t have been so friendly if it weren’t for your status as a Chosen One and the trouble you were in.”James smiled mischievously. He lifted his hand and tossed two bottles of Chaos Absinthe toward the pair.Zbynek and Lilibeth were momentarily stunned, not expecting this gesture. However, they quickly caught the bottles and each took big gulps of the Chaos Absinthe.Despite their earlier refusals, they obviously enjoyed the liquor. James couldn’t help but think this was probably the true nature of the gods.“It’s de
Each of the runes James completed radiated with bright Waltraud Lights.Eventually, a dense network of lights formed from these overlapping and intersecting with the lights from the Xwem Chessboard.Zbynek and Lilibeth had stopped yelling at some point. Instead, they watched James with wide eyes.“What... What is he drawing?” Zbynek stuttered.“Those seem to be the Skender Runes.” Lilibeth’s eyes were glued to the runes.“That fellow is no ordinary cultivator. He possesses the Wuia Palace’s Four Treasures of Nothingness and wields them skillfully.“He must be receiving guidance from a divine being with great powers and extensive knowledge.”Zbynek’s brows twitched. “A divine being? Even so, could that divine being hold a higher position than the three Caeloros Gods, who dared not enter the Historial Palace just now?”Lilibeth took a deep breath. “There are nine Caeloros Gods of Nothingness. Among them, their Caeloros Supreme, Frona Dhimer, is the most powerful.“I can somehow
James looked in the voice’s direction and spotted a human-like form standing on the roof of the Historial Palace.Gradually, the person’s appearance became clear. It was a middle-aged man with red hair, wearing a black and white robe. The man exuded the aura of a peerless, extraordinary cultivator, emanating a tremendous amount of Waltraud Power.Strangely, he just stood there, not attempting to attack James.“Were you talking to me?” James asked. The middle-aged man snorted, “Is there anyone else here except you?”James shrugged. “Who are you?”“I am Zbynek Xaccheus, the Left Protector who serves the Supreme Path!” the man bellowed.“You can use any skills or means you have to get in if you intend to acquire the treasures inside the Historial Palace. We won’t stop you from entering if you succeed. On the contrary, you should give up and leave if you fail to find a way in. It’s disgraceful to use a cheap trick like this to steal the Historial Palace’s powers!”James scoffed, “
In a matter of seconds, the Nothingness Shields formed by the Caeloros Gods were shattered and destroyed. The Caeloros Gods took Quintus and swiftly shot up into the air, moving away from the air current and Waltraud Lights.“Retreat to the Tapia Mountains!”After shouting the command, Yefrenes took Quintus and transformed into a beam of light, traveling toward a mountain located far behind the Historial Palace.“Damn it!” Quintinus cursed, “If it weren’t for my powers being suppressed, I could easily crush these stupid halls and even the entire Haleth Realm!”“Let’s go!” Amos grabbed him by the arm.The two of them transformed into beams of Nothingness Light and went after Yefrenes. At that moment, another massive explosion erupted amid the collisions of the air current and the Waltraud Light, shaking the grounds of the Wuia Palace.Boom! Boom! Boom! The Waltraud Light radiating from the Historial Palace gradually overpowered the air current generated by the eighty halls.Ev
“What’s happening in the area where the eighty halls are? I can sense tremors coming from there.”“Something feels off. Could it be that someone managed to seize Wuia Palace’s eighty halls in such a short period of time?”A huge palace floated in the air somewhere high above the eighty halls. With bulging eyes, Quintinus and Amos watched what was happening below from the palace in the air. Their jaws hung open.Yefrenes did not say anything, but she was visibly shocked as well.“It’s James Caden! It must be him!” Quintus shouted frantically. “He’s the only person in all of the Haleth Realm who can do this!”Slap!Quintus was hurled onto the floor as Quintinus forcefully slapped him across the face.“Shut up, you lowly scum! Do you think a mere being from the Haleth Realm can do something like this? This must be a sign that Waitara’s Soremsia is back!”Quintus covered his swollen cheek and kept silent, not daring to talk back.“If it is Waitara’s Soremsia, things will be trick
James’s Primordial Spirit looked at the lady with widened eyes.“Frona, why didn’t you tell me this earlier?”“I just figured it out now,” Frona replied with a slightly awkward expression. “I can only share information with you if I know it ahead of time.”James’s Primordial Spirit smiled wryly, not expecting that answer. He asked, “If I don’t kill it…”“Then you can’t fully control the Nothingness Neon Pen,” Frona replied immediately. “Naturally, you won’t be able to harness all of its powers either.”James’s Primordial Spirit snorted. “Waitara must have planned this. He’s really sly and calculative!”“Just kill it,” Frona sighed. “Letting it live may bring us more trouble in the future. You’ll also be wasting a precious tool.”James’s Primordial Spirit transformed into a light sword and shot toward the Waitara Path’s spirit. With a loud boom, the light sword pierced and shattered the spirit, which quickly transformed into a mass of Waltraud Power. The mass of Waltraud Power

Excellent never ending book. Would recommend with the caveat that it has returned to only releasing 3 to 4 short chapters daily if you are current. This can be very frustrating.
